A trauma-informed approach to Healing
What does it mean to be trauma-informed?
All Soul Center practitioners complete specialized training and receive certification through an accredited trauma-informed program, ensuring they are equipped to provide safe, supportive, and effective healing experiences. Trauma-informed instructors cultivate a trusting environment that prioritizes the practitioner’s well-being. This person-centered approach encourages individuals to fully embody their experience, allowing emotions to surface and be processed during the practice. Trauma-informed sessions offer a gentle, supportive framework designed to foster confidence, create a sense of safety in the body, and reduce trauma-related responses.
At Soul Center, our teachers are trained to adapt to diverse settings, modifying poses and breathwork to meet the needs of each group or individual. By establishing a secure and supportive space, practitioners can engage in a deeply somatic experience, connecting with their bodies and integrating mind-body awareness for healing, autonomy, resilience, self-efficacy, and empowerment.
